Do these sound like symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction or organ prolapse? : WomensHealth

[ad_1]

For reference, I am 23 years old, not taking any medications, birth control, have not had any kids.

• Constant lower bloat/drooping near my bladder. Here are some photos for reference: https://imgur.com/a/jDO8otG

• Urinating less than expected despite feeling like I need to urinate – my bladder doesn’t hold as much urine as it used to. At its worst I’ll leak urine but does not happen very often.

• Uncomfortable/heavyish feeling between my legs and overall pelvic region that goes away when I lay or sit down, tends to fluctuate and symptoms improve after a few days-weeks but can get annoying again if I do any really heavy lifting. Overall just a weak feeling down there and that weakness feeling tends to improve/fluctuate if I don’t do anything to strain myself.

• Weaker urine stream and I can’t strain the muscle so that urine comes out stronger if that makes sense.

• At its worst and during the early stages of my symptoms I was experiencing urinary frequency, pelvic pain but these symptoms have pretty much subsided with time, all thats left is this horrible weak feeling that makes it uncomfortable to walk around.

• Symptoms are alleviated a bit when I stretch my pelvic floor.

• At one point I was even experiencing constipation, for actual months and even noticed a change in stool and tons of bile but that has self resolved.

Can anyone relate to my symptoms? I will be seeing an OBGYN tomorrow and setting up an appointment with a urogynecologist soon to hopefully get this resolved soon as I don’t feel right.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
